About Shannon Durfee

I have been doing virtual administrative services since the Fall of 2017 and I LOVE IT. Getting to see other people be successful and grow their own business as a result of work I’ve done for them is really neat. It is very rewarding to see others move forward, have relief of stress, and enjoy their work again! 

I was born and raised in Quincy, WA. I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband and have three adorable children. We were married at an early age and I started a job that I thought would be my forever career as a 911 dispatcher. I was passionate about that work and loved every bit of it. 
After having kids and changes in life, there was a need for me to not work full-time. Giving up that job was very hard however it was for the sake of my family so that eased the pain some. 

Taking what I’d learned from that 10 year experience – multi-tasking, attention to detail, and administrative skills – and not letting it go to waste was important to me! And, being a full-time mom takes it’s toll on me. I wanted to do something for me that didn’t effect my family so drastically. 

A work-from-home situation was the only option. When I discovered the world of a “virtual assistant” I knew right away it was something that I could do! Not only that, there was a great need in my area! 

I thrive on making those around me happy. When I get a “I love your work!” from a client, it makes my heart sing and fuels my fire to be even better! My heart is to take burdens from those that have a dream to be bigger and better.
