About Shannon Durfee

I was born and raised in Quincy, WA. I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband and have three adorable children. We were married at an early age and I started a job that I thought would be my forever career as a 911 dispatcher. I was passionate about that work and loved every bit of it. 
After having kids and changes in life, there was a need for me to not work full-time. Giving up that job was very hard however it was for the sake of my family so that eased the pain some. 

Taking the multi-tasking, attention to detail, and administrative skills I’d learned from that 10 year experience and not letting it go to waste was important to me! And, being a full-time mom takes it’s toll on me. I wanted to do something for me that didn’t effect my family so drastically. 

A work-from-home situation was the only option. When I discovered the world of a “virtual assistant” I knew right away it was something that I could do! Not only that, there was a great need in my area! 

I have been doing virtual administrative services since the Fall of 2017 and I LOVE IT. Getting to see other people be successful and grow their own business as a result of work I’ve done for them is really neat. It is very rewarding to see others move forward, have relief of stress, and enjoy their work again!
